This website is run by EZ In EZ Out Storage LLC (“EZ In EZ Out Storage,” “we,” “us”), a self-storage business. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, chat with us, call us, or rent a storage unit from us, and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you rent a unit online. To set up your rental we ask for your full name, email address, mobile phone number, mailing address, and an emergency contact’s name and phone number, plus the unit you choose and your move-in details. We use this to create your rental, prepare your lease, contact you about your account, and run the facility.

When you send us a question. Our contact and “ask about this size” forms ask for your name, a phone number or email address, and a short note about what you want to store. We use this only to answer you and follow up about your storage needs.

When you chat with or call us. See “AI chat and phone assistant” below.

When you pay. See “Payments” below.

When you browse. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically receives basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and fix problems.

AI chat and phone assistant

The chat window on this website (“Ask AI”) and our phone line are answered by an AI assistant provided by Lumio, a third-party service provider. When you chat, call, or text with the assistant, Lumio processes what you type or say so it can answer questions, check availability, and help you reserve or rent a unit. A record or transcript of the conversation, and any contact details you share, may be kept so our team can follow up with you.

Please don’t share payment card numbers or other sensitive information in a chat, call, or text.

Payments

Rentals and payments are handled through CC Storage, the storage management software we use, and its payment processor. When you enter card details on this website or in the tenant portal, they go directly to the payment processor over an encrypted connection. EZ In EZ Out Storage and this website do not store your full card number.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set its own advertising or tracking cookies. Some features load content from service providers — for example, the chat window, the payment form, and our web fonts — and those providers may use cookies or similar technologies to make their features work and keep them secure.

We may use analytics or advertising measurement tools to understand how visitors find and use our site and to measure our ads. If we do, those tools may collect information such as the pages you visit and the ad you clicked. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business — such as our storage management and payment software, our AI chat and phone provider, website hosting, and email and messaging tools — and only so they can do that work for us. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or property, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

How long we keep it

We keep rental and account records for as long as you rent with us and afterward for as long as we need them for our business records, legal obligations, and to resolve any disputes. We keep questions and enquiries for as long as they are useful to follow up with you.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections on this website. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop calling, texting, or emailing you about our services. Some information we may need to keep while you have an active rental or for our records. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
